The goal of Phase One is to adapt our stunningly beautiful church to current needs by enhancing our sacred worship space and providing essential resources like a community gathering area, sufficient and accessible restrooms, and easier church access and parking for those with disabilities.
Renovations. Since our church was dedicated in January 1966, our parish has grown five times over. After almost 45 years of daily use, it is time to update and adapt our church through renovations that will:
- Add greater dignity to the sanctuary and improve music quality by replacing carpet with marble;
- Enhance choral acoustics through a redesign of the choir space so the choir can effectively use its designated space;
- Repair kneelers and pews, replacing cushions for both;
- Upgrade to more energy efficient lighting.
- Providing a separate social area for gathering before and after Masses that preserves our sacred space for prayer and worship;
- Adding sufficient and accessible restrooms, including family restrooms that are essential to welcoming all to our community, especially those with special needs.
- Expanding the entry to the church to allow a covered drop-off and pick-up area.
- A new rectory to be built on purchased property on Del Monte Drive adjacent to the church campus;
- The current rectory to be torn down and replaced with improved and expanded parking.

View from inside the new Narthex looking west and the doors leading into the Nave of the Church. The current stained glass cross above the current entrance will remain and become lit from both sides to grace both the Nave and the Narthex.

Renovation plans for the current church focus on the choir area, the sanctuary, the cry room, and repairing pews cushions and kneelers. One of the key design goals is to make the church more prayer and more hospitable, especially for those with disabilities or need easier access.
