Phase Three :: Parking & Campus Upgrades
Estimated Cost: $4,000,000 Parking
$2,275,000 Parish Offices, Ministry/Formation Space, and Landscaping
The goal of Phase Three is to meet the persistent challenge of providing sufficient on-campus parking for our parish and school. Currently we provide approximately 120 parking spaces on-campus, a number that has been decreasing with the City of Houston enforcement of “No Parking” in the fire lanes.
Our plan for enhanced on-campus parking and landscaping will:
Increase the number of reserved parking for those with disabilities or special needs;
- Provide 400 surface and garage parking spaces, the garage being a function of not having sufficient land for all-surface parking;
- Include a plan for more effective vehicle entry and exit;
- Integrate and harmonize the entire campus through design elements and landscaping.
Through all the projects of this long-range plan, our goal is to create a campus that invites parishioners, students, and visitors to find God in all times and places – gathered in worship together, kneeling alone before the Blessed Sacrament, cheering on the football team, planning the next Sociable Seniors outing, learning the fundamentals of mathematics, or conversing with friends around a plaza fountain. We want to tie together the campus so it has a harmony and unity of purpose that proclaims the message of Jesus through our worship, education, and service to others.
