Blood Drives
Four times a year St. Michael conducts a blood drive following the Sunday daytime Masses. Volunteers are needed to support that effort for the following Sundays in 2008: January 27, May 4, July 20, and October 26. The blood drive coordinators are and Janet and Bobby Northrup. Christian Community Service Center (CCSC)
CCSC is in need of volunteers to assist with in-coming calls and to interview clients Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m.- 2:00 p.m. Michelle Schonbeck is the Executive Director of CCSC.
Gabriel Project
The Gabriel Project responds to requests for assistance for soon-to-be mothers. Elizabeth Labanowski coordinates this ministry.
Habitat for Humanity
The 2008 project included one day of building on a Saturday in September 2008. As the parish finaces other builds we will be in need of volunteers ed to perform rudimentary carpentry activities under the supervision of Habitat project managers. Contact Ray Sylvester.
Society of St. Vincent de Paul (SVDP)
SVDP operates two thrift stores in Houston. They are in need of volunteers at various times. Contact 713-741-8234 for more information.
