St. Michael Wedding Guild
Mission Statement:
The St. Michael Catholic Church Wedding Guild is a group of dedicated individuals who minister to the Brides and Grooms of our parish and their respective families. The Guild represents St. Michael in extending hospitality to all who marry here and facilitates their rehearsals and wedding ceremonies in a friendly, organized and helpful manner. The Guild welcomes guests into their church home, just as they would welcome guests into their own home. In addition to assisting with the parish weddings, the Guild ministers to one another by meeting on a regular basis to share in prayer and fellowship.
Membership Requirements:
1. Attend wedding training workshops, as needed throughout the year.
2. Assist with no less than two weddings per year/approximately 3 to 3 ½ hours per wedding.
--Friday rehearsal/1 hour
--Saturday ceremony/2 to 2 ½ hours
3. Attend Wedding Guild dinner meetings when possible during the year.
--Meetings will be held on the 3rd Monday of alternate months
--Holiday meeting will be held on the 1st Monday of December
