We're excited to introduce the new logo for our parish! Often depicted in full armor, St. Michael the Archangel symbolizes the victory of good over evil. The imposing statue that stands guard at the front of our church is a powerful reminder that God always prevails.
Illustrated using bold lines and strong contours, this was the inspiration for the new logo and colors for St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church. Through this depiction, with mighty wings and staff held high, we hope it makes you feel proud to be part of our faith community!
DESIGN EVOLUTION
The new logo illustration was inspired by the statue outside the front of the church. Next time you have the chance, take a look at the fine details of the statue. It really is a work of art!
We chose the rich, burnt tobacco color for the outline of the shield and horizontal lines encasing the text to evoke an earthy sturdiness. Like a stalwart oak tree, St. Michael the Archangel is resolute in his faith.
The lighter shades of gold and beige are dependable, warm, and true, like the Word of God. Know therefore that the Lord your God is God; he is the faithful God, keeping his covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love him and keep his commandments. -Deuteronomy 7:9
